Success Stories: "Graduates" of Roseland Day Care As of 2007

Since Roseland's inception in 1993 when Pearl began caring for 5 children in her apartment, Pearl Willis and the Roseland Day Care have touched the lives of approximately 500 children and 200 young mothers either as day care charges, as bible study students, after school clubs, or as field trip participants. Since 1993, Roseland has had of the following success stories:

Success Stories

• 500 children served between the day care and “Good News” club
• 200 young mothers served
• 32 moms graduated high school
• 29 moms gainfully employed, and
• 8 moms received their GED
• 11 moms graduated from college,
• 18 moms graduated with certificates for things such as Nursing, Cosmetology, etc.
