MissionThe Roseland Community “Good News” Day Care provides free day care for children of teenage moms, college moms, and low income moms in the Roseland community. Our mission is to provide Christ- centered child care in a nuturing environment and to give encouragement and hope back to our community. FactsRoseland Day Care Center is located on the south side of Chicago, at 210 West 113th Street. In 1993, when the day care started, the day care buildings are in one of the roughest neighborhoods in Chicago where a majority of the residents are unemployed and recipients of public aid. Roseland touches and improves the lives of precious little children and everyone in the community. How Roseland Day Care is FundedRoseland Good News Day Care Center is funded mainly from donations given by individuals and churches locally and nationally. Roseland also receives money from the Childcare Initiative program in Chicago. |
